ABOUT US
Rondella is a rather bizarre character. He is the last heir of the infamous "Ancient Rondella Robottery," the workshop where the "Peaceful Robots" are born, and he lives in a place called "Cortésia." Cortésia is very close to the sea and surrounded by boundless countryside, places he frequently visits as his main source of inspiration. Cynical, sarcastic and ironic, sometimes vulgar and grumpy, but with a big heart, he is an empathetic man, excessively sensitive, easily moved, very attached to memories and pervaded by a perennial, calm and healthy sadness, so much so that he has earned the nickname "melancholic craftsman." He feels a particular attraction to the occult world, to funerary art and cemeteries, places where he takes very long walks. His "hermit-like" character leads him to confine himself to Cortésia with his beloved family, carefully rationing social relationships and meticulously selecting them.
Virginia, his adorable wife, or as the Robots call her "Mother Rondella," is a patient and calm woman, also "refractory" to worldly life, who accepts, not always willingly, all her husband's oddities. Anna is their only daughter. She is a very sweet girl with a strong character, also sensitive and respectful of others. She is stubborn, very curious, and has a deep repulsion for anything that is "banal entertainment." Her main passion is painting. Frida Kahne is their black dog, very intelligent, clumsy and a bit chubby, constantly looking for food and can't stand being washed. Grandpa Emilio, one of their family robots, is a very old automaton with a gruff and surly character. A great flirt, he has a visceral passion for all women and is officially in love with Mother Rondella. Particularly prone to getting into trouble, he often has problems with the law. He was built many, many years ago as an agricultural robot, and because of this, he walks around with his beloved hoe, almost as if it were a scepter. The Peaceful Robots are anthropomorphic automatons, inhibitors of negative energy powered by human energy. They manage to make the heartstrings of the humans they come into contact with vibrate at such a frequency as to inhibit the release of their negativity. In other words, they bring humans to a state of purity that can inhibit them from directing their bad feelings toward others. The intent of the Rondella Robottery is to spread their robots thoroughly, and when even the last human has been inhibited from releasing their negativity, only positive energies will travel through space. When this happens, the Rondellas will have accomplished their mission and the Peaceful Robots will have become the emblem of the greatest change in human history.
